The Elder told us that the zone outside of the Ark offers nothing but death. Maybe he's right. But there's one thing we all know: if we stay here, the flames of humanity will die out.
Mutant: Year Zero is a post apocalyptic RPG about a community of mutants living in a safe, but crumbling sanctuary. Mechanically speaking, it plays like Apocalypse World with more fleshed out rules, and an element of civilization building. All PCs play a pivotal roll in the outcome of the Ark and it's 200 residents.
I'm a veteran GM who knows this system from first hand experience.
