The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan

Originally run at the official AD&D tournament at Origins '79, this adventure has been updated for D&D 5e in this year's Tales from the Yawning Portal. For Roll20Con, I'm taking this adventure back to its tournament roots.

I have converted the original pre-generated tournament characters to 5th edition and will be using the original scoring sheet to track progress through the Shrine. Instead of the YP recommended 4-5 5th level characters, there are only 3 PCs with an average level of 8.

This is a dungeon crawl, full of devious traps and deadly monsters, but this isn't an archaeological dig, nor is it a treasure hunt. The only objective in this scenario is to survive and to escape. And time is running out...
