Adventure of Monsters:The New Age

Not everyone is a hero and not everyone is perfect....That doesn't mean they are not capable of doing anything.

Sometimes interesting people come from most unexpected of places - like land of monsters

Welcome to the land of tribals and nomads, beasts and abominations. Place of fighting, bloodshed and survival. Or so the outsiders think. Most of the monstrous creatures stay away from one another, having there territories and keeping to themselves. Thouse that don't go off to be hired by bands of travelers, bringing goods from one place to another. However unlikely it may sound, everyone was satisfied with there lifestyle, but the small life of small battles and peaceful hunting didn't last forever.

Now groups of fillfy adventurers are venturing in attacking the villages and lone wanderers - proclaiming that they are cleansing this land of taint of evil and corruption.

To combat this old force has risen in the forests, ancient warrior has left there crypt, the elder scaled one rose up from there swamp and the the otherworldly horror now blindly wander the land.

There are but few of the creatures, to now wander the land, in search of those brave or stupid enough to help them - for no mater how weak one is, the old powers will find use for them.

To this day, only few race adapted to live in this land they way they want:

The Gnolls - The Carrion-Eaters, The Scavanger, The Forge-Masters - hyena folk came from the south, but now there are none left there as those who live here, and time has proven - Hyena-folk and there three gods are hard to get rid off. There savagery and brutal force unmatched by most, they soon proved that wild cunning and durability can save the land.

The Lizardfolk - The Scaled-Ones, The Survivalists, The Tribe starters - The breeds of lizards come in many shapes and colors, some from the the icy tundra, to the deepest swamps, it is commonly said - that if you know a place, there a lizardfolk living there. The godless race, immune to divine curses of other gods, childs of nature and daugthers of the snow....

The Kobolds - The Small-Scales, The Numerous, The Adaptive - Race of smaller dragonic folk, who have rightful claim to predate dragons, prove to be most organised in the bunch, each tribe small culture, each city - center of life, there creations - first of there kind...But only few know where to look for these underground marvels...

The Warforged - The Living-Golems, The Blank-Ones, The Rusted - No one is quite sure where these machines come from, but quite a few have been unearthed in the varios places. They wake up with no memory of what they are, always taking on traits common to the race the unearthed them. Yet, there durable nature and construct nature lead to them being treated well by any who find them...but never let there looks fool you, for they can be both ferocious berserkers and kind doctors, it all depends on who found them...

The Plantfolk - The Green-Ones, The Calm, The Ancient - Trees and plants still walk this land, and new ones still grow, even if magics and forces around them can twist the sapling, the trees will continue to walk the land, some looking for peace, others to find ways to change...

The Aracnids - The Web-Spiners, The Weaver, The Seekers - The darkest of old tunnels and the densest of forests hide the lone ambushers and hunters - the weird monstrosities, with lower body of the spider and upper body akin to that of a humanoid, yet with multiple eyes and claws of chitin...Some hunt down the folks that get lost in there cave, some raise spiders as pets and yet few others find trust among other races - finding ways to make them even deadlier...Only to become most peaceful folk around.

The Dragonborn -The Half-breed, The Frail, The Few - Born of magic or just natural circumstance, the half-breed dragonborn are the childs of dragons and other races. To human race they might seem superior breed, yet to some monsters, they are just another kind of folk in the pot. Sharing looks of there patients they share culture as well, growing to be another members of there tribes and towns...But they still make great warriors, great musicians as well...and no one minds good entertainment - be it blood thirsty women of gnoll, or the tiny priests of kobolds...

The Turtlefolk - The Shelled-Ones, The Durable, The Hidden - Few of the outsiders know of the turtles of the Forest of Iron, Ones that lay in wait for there prey...Neither slow, nor calm, these creatures will fight with teeth and claw to take down ones foes. Sometimes refereed to as mix of a turtle shell and an alligator, so never forget - not everything you see is the way it is...
