Battle Royale One Shot

Introduction

Welcome curious eyes and potential players to a one shot that will test your character creation skills, character usage, mind, and charisma. What you have stumbled upon none other than a Battle Royale, a one shot which'll pit players against players using Fifth Edition Dungeons and Dragons rules and mechanics. While many games listed offer a tabletop roleplaying experience that'll last weeks, months, or perhaps years, this one-shot provides a chance to compete for the sake of competing against varying players of different backgrounds and skills in an environment that'll eventually single you out one by one to find a lone survivor. So it is appropriate to ask, are you up for a challenge?

Rules

To settle the obvious, the edition we'll be playing on is the Fifth Edition of Dungeons and Dragons with every published unearthed arcana, books, and even [Link (http://mfov.magehandpress.com/p/homebrew.html). The website provided allows players to play a set of homebrew content that has been play tested internally by the developers to assure quality and balanced content. I feel that by offering the multiple options listed above allows the players to explore new and unique ways of creating characters to kill their opponents in new and creative ways. None the less please message me private or post on the forums with regards to the allowed materials used to create characters. However, there are a few exceptions such as restrictions on Middle Finger of Vecna's Races (none allowed) or their custom classes. Subclasses/archetypes are up for theorycraft.

The levels that the combatants will be is 20. I feel that this is necessary because it will perhaps allow for a quick initial round (which allows for multiple play-through) and further assist with class creation with the many potential multiclass options available.

Stats will be determined by a standard array of 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, and 8 allowing for the most balanced stats other than relying on the RNG of rolling for stats.

Players MUST have a decent microphone and can do pleasant attitude (competitive is also a good trait cause why not) in order to be accepted. Furthermore solid and guaranteed commitment to the start of the session is a definite factor when it comes to player acceptance. There will a maximum of six players and a minimum of four for the session to start. Anyone who wishes to spectate is able to do so assuming the best behaviors are had (ie no spamming on the chat, cannot stream this).

Intimidation and persuasion rolls with the intent of coercing another character to join in a temporary alliance or to run away will not be allowed and ignored. However deception rolls vs insight will be an option assuming that the deception roll is to hand one item to an opposing PC.

I would like for my players to be respectful to all players whether they are young, old, new, veteran, or whatever as this'll allow for the most fun and enjoyment to be had. Respecting any ruling that I decided is also a necessity, unless there is a unanimous agreement that the ruling is unjust to which I'll respect the table's ruling.

Please look through the application thread in order to apply.
