Backstory - In the suburbs of Topeka, Kansas the city of New Attica hosts about 7,000 residents. Mostly lower to medium class farmers and people who want to escape from the bigger cities. It has been a year since the apocalypse hit, and about 8 months since New Attica was affected. The dead rise to claim meals from the living, and once friendly neighbors would now kill over a can of food. With various backgrounds across your characters you will be introduced to New Attica and how the apocalypse affects the surrounding community. In Resurrection - Zombie Apocalypse Survival DnD 5e/Homebrew the character’s paths will be tied together for the sole purpose of survival, creating their own post-apoc community to survive. Trading, exploring, and looting.

What we expect from you:
Roleplay your character! Remember, you are them! Please only consider putting in an application if you’re serious about your roleplay.

In-Game mechanics:
Overall the campaign is roughly 60% Homebrew, 40% DnD 5e.
Important Note - The campaign will be split up roughly (depending on session)
25% Combat 55% Roleplay 20% Skill.
The sessions will be run with both GMs simultaneously guiding all 5 player-made characters through the zombie ridden suburbs of Topeka, Kansas. The players will fend for themselves in a world we’ve designed for them to interact together, being bound solely for survival as they all end up in a hotel, left for dead. The campaign as a whole will be player-run in the aspect that the characters can go anywhere in the open-world, craft anything that helps you survive, and design your own interactions with the NPCs that we’ve created.

Why two GMs?:
This will be Tanner’s first session as a GM, and Jaydon is assisting him through Co-GM to allow us to both improve our skills.

We also think this adds flare and creativity. :D

Jaydon:

Howdy! Welcome to our session and thanks for your interest. I have a military background and thought DnD was only for nerds prior to meeting my first GM. Now I have a passion for it, and enjoy creating campaigns for players to interact in and progress through. I’m teaching my close friend Tanner how to GM so he can run his own campaigns if he so chooses, and hope you decide to toss an application our way.

Experience - 10+ Homebrew Campaigns (3 GM, 7 Player), 3 Pathfinder Campaigns (Player), 4 Fifth Edition campaigns (GM).

Experience - First time GM, Have played in 3 Fifth Edition Campaigns, and spectated on 3 others I never really thought of myself as much of a dnd person but once I saw it played I instantly wanted to play it as much as possible. Now that I’ve played a few campaigns Jaydon has convinced me to try my hand at possibly GMing so I hope to have a great time with everyone who takes part.
