Dominion Tank Police

In the far future, Earth is a polluted hell with massive cities and a crime problem to match. Keeping the peace is the Tank police that literally use tanks and mechas as both their vehicles and main weapons with a nearly insane brutal dedication to their job. Most of the criminals fear and live in terror the DTP who will just as soon destroy a mall and library in their pursuit of capturing a purse snatcher or trash litterer; or take down bank robbers or mafia hired mercenaries no matter the destruction to the neighborhood or city. Only 3 criminals have been elusive to the DTP, clashed with them numerous times and are on the most wanted list. The Puma Sisters and Buaka(genius) .... but even these notorious criminals have been foiled by the vigiliant brave (insane?) officers of the law.. the Dominion Tank Police!!

Hello all! I'm in search of rpg players who have a taste for plot , mysteries, violent action, and comedy in the spirit of the anime. I have Gm'ed for a long time and want to now show this amazing gem of a game to any player familiar or not familiar with the anime. Honestly i have worked it into this player ran campaign that a person doesn't need to know anything about the anime to be viable and have fun.

The rpg has a point system in creating your character (officer) and also points to completely customize a mecha. Be it a tank, helicopter, skin tight mecha suit, or weapons... you have alot of freedom and its easy to get into the system. I will be providing the PDFs for free and i own the book so i can easily answer any questions people have.

This is a "Player Driven Campaign/Story". 2 other player groups over the years have play and contributed to the story which may help or hinder the next generation of DTP officers who take up the mantle. This means your actions and character that make a significant contribution will be recorded down and adapt/change the story. People familiar with my other Player driven stories (Talislanta Fantasy) can contest i try to as much as possible to make every players actions and decisions actually truly matter.

I'm putting the time to "start as the 19th of August on Saturday" This most likely will be a session "0" or talk to people who are interested and have questions. That way we can get a group cohesive together... if we have time we could even start playing if everyone gets done. The system is a simple 2d6+skill level meet the Gm's target number etc etc. The mechanics are easy, but whats most important is the roleplaying amongst the group and the decisions yall make. Since this is DTP (Dominion Tank Police) setting, i know there will be some funny and silly moments in sessions and i encourage that, but i also encourage there is a serious side of role playing the story and not just being goofy with no regard for your fellow teammates or story. I do not mind new players who have never role played, as long as everyone is engaged and participating. Especially since this is very sandboxy game with multiple stories/plots everywhere. Think Skyrim world and you can choose any quest and your actions affect the rest of world possibly.. except in this case you cant take 100 side quests and leave them there hanging till you are good and ready to encounter them. The Npcs and factions have lives and goals as well which means they are on their own timetable just as you all are.

Im shooting for one game a week unless the group schedule permits 2... but for now lets go with one session. Right now its a tentative Saturday.. but im free 6 days a week except Sunday. So contact me through here or my discord tag Spinster#2735.
