I added the player applications as a way for DMs to see possible new recruits however it seems that this has inadvertently caused the vast majority of applications to be player only. For now PLAYER APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED until more DMs apply to run a game in the world of Telas.

Welcome to the World of Telas

Many continents and peoples span this earth-like world and as such each region has its own story to tell being full of unique individuals, such as yourselves. Telas’ many civilisations are medieval in nature however some are more or less advanced in their technologies. Many races have survived and as such its ecosystem is a varied and thriving one full of life but inevitably also conflict.

Our roleplaying community recently started (The Padded Room) has created a world in which DMs can create their own campaigns even across different time periods on the same planet with some of these campaigns possibly affecting others. Not all of the campaigns will have direct player vs player groups however we hope to have an interactive world that naturally develops a rich roleplaying environment as a result of this added immersion. This collection of games was introduced last week and so far it has 30+ members with 5 campaigns one of which is set in the past, however we don’t plan on past campaigns having a massive impact on current ones other than references perhaps. As the campaigns progress the lore of Telas will grow such as new deities and pantheons for each region (current DND deities will also be present if appropriate). Each DM will be responsible for finding his/her own players and their campaign setting will contribute to the map seen above.

Reasons you should apply to run one of these collection of games:

• You want the opportunity to create a meaningful campaign that has a permanent impact on a dynamic world
• You’re looking for a way to easily discuss aspects of being a DM with other DMs like yourself and together plan a grand scale project
• You’re new to DMing and want a helping hand in creating your roleplaying adventure
