Welcome to the Master's Vault, Adventurers!

For more than a century Elaria Feywing, known to many as The Master, mentored young adventurers in combat, exploration, and magic. Little is known about the elf woman’s past and her days as a wandering wizard, but her status as a teacher is legendary. Many young fortune-seekers made the trek out to the small village of Parabor on the frontier of the Merriam Vale to seek Elaria’s expertise. She took only a handful of these pupils every year. Her favorite group of disciples was also her last and most recent... YOU.

Game Information:

  • Schedule: Weekly, Tuedays at 10:00AM CDT
  • Session Zero: Tuesday, October 3rd (Contingent on filling all player slots.)
  • Game Length: Approximately 4 hours per session, including breaks.
  • Starting Level: 1
  • Group Size: 4
  • No player versus player action will be allowed
  • Communication: Voice is required, video will be optional. Discord will be used.

Character Creation:

  • D&D 5th Edition ruleset
  • Player's Handbook, Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide, and Volo's Guide to Monsters are acceptable sources. I will not be using any home brew or Unearthed Arcana for this adventure.
  • No evil alignments will be allowed. As a new DM and player I prefer to avoid the tension it can cause in party.
  • You can either use the starting stats from the Player's Handbook of 15,14,13,10,8, or you can roll stats during session 0. If you choose to roll stats, you may re-roll if no stats are above 14.

Expections for Players:

I have some expectations that you as a player will meet and follow. Having the entire group on the same page regarding the game will make for a much better experience for everyone.

  • Understand that this campaign is for new players, and that not everyone will be familiar with the rules.
  • Be reliable and punctual to games each week.
  • Understand that life happens, and players may miss sessions. Always attempt to provide heads up to the DM if you may miss a session.
  • Stay engaged with the game while we are playing.
  • Understand D&D is a cooperative game, and no one player will have the spotlight at all times.
  • Ensure you have a quality microphone and stable internet connection.
  • Perform Character sheet maintenance outside of game time.

About the DM

Hey, I'm David. I have been playing D&D with an in person group for some time now, and would like to try my hand at DM'ing. I am new to Roll20 as well, and would love to find a group of players to go through the learning experience together with me, creating a great story as we go.
