DnD 5e ,The long Night

It is late in the fall season, the town of Korvin begins winding down from the recent harvest festival. A celebration that marks the end of year and a time when the citizens relax and recoup from the years’ work. The Lonely Troll Tavern is bustling with business, as the towns people revel in their new-found wealth and enjoy each other’s company over a mug of ale. Outside however, the festival had left its streets bare and unattended, devoid of the happiness that filled them earlier in the day. A gust of wind could be heard rapping on the windows of the buildings on the outskirts of Korvin. With the wind picking up, only the faint sound of horse hooves could be heard in the distance. Picking up speed as the rider neared the edge of Korvin, darting down the streets recklessly to the doors to the Lonely Troll Tavern. The rider dismounts and slams the door open, diving inside. “Close the door damn you! They are coming!” said the man. With the sudden out burst from the front, the taverns music stopped and its denizens looked towards the door to see what the ruckus was. There, the lord of the town Strickland Ashmoore, lied beaten and bloody on the tavern floor, hand held on a gash across his face.

That is where we will begin our adventure, in the Lonely Troll Tavern. With a mystery and danger looming ahead. My name is Ryan and I will be your Dm for this fun filled campaign. I am a fairly competent Dm I recently Dmed a game that lasted 8 or so months of weekly sessions, ended due to time constraints. The type of games I like to run are a good balance between RP and combat, importance leaning more toward the RP side. There will be a lot of fighting and adventuring but I feel I should note the requirement of willing Role-players. I want to build a story and you guys are the main ingredient so come looking to interact with the world so that you can get the best experience. Also, my combat tends to be on the harder side so murder hobos will not last long and tactics will serve you well.

PCs will be starting at 3rd level please leave a character description, race, class, basic info etc. Voice only and it will be weekly please make sure that the time is alright with you before applying thank you lets rolls some dice.
