Forgotten Realms, adventure in the dales

HEAVY HITTER NEEDED, friendship can be gained:

We lost our Paladin to a minotaur. He will be greatly missed, and left big shoes to fill. So, are you willing to join a Party? We have been playing for around two years, and are currently lvl 7. So yes, slow progression. You would start at lvl 7. We require a combat oriented character from the realms. Newbies welcome. Party currently formed by elven wizard, half elf bard, dwarven fighter and aasimar cleric. Please, read below.

SETTING:

Looking for a party of adventurers to try and traverse the wonderous world of Faerun, on this the year of the Wild Magic, 1372 D.R.

As you know, Cormyr is rebuilding after the goblin wars and the death of their king, while some monsters deserting from the armies roam the Dales. The hounds of war stir in the southern land of Sembia, and seers across the land speak of shadows from times past swallowing the sun. But the Dales are ripe for adventurers, and their hardy peoples build on hope. Adventurers will come.

WHAT I WANT FROM PLAYERS:
1.- Team players.
2.-Heroes (or heroic-ish) adventurers. Please, no "only wants to go home" motivation.
3.-VANILLA races and classes ONLY. Nothing not of PHB. No level adjustments.
4.- No power-play, No min-maxing. Your vulnerability is your companion´s chance to shine. And vice-versa. I feel this makes for more enjoyable adventures. Don´t play a Mary Sue. No exponential skill increases.
5.-Willing to Role-play, and use imagination. I will not be heavy on design and maps.
6.-A 4 PC party, 5 tops, is what I can handle. No more than 2 beginners. Familiars and animal companions are DM controlled.
7.- Will invest in character, but ALSO willing to die and create new characters. If there were no real challenges, there would be no success in overcoming.
8.-Remember, in the Forgotten Realms, players are rarely the strongest around, act accordingly.
9.- Trust my decisions. I will trust yours.

WHAT I OFFER:
1.-A classic game, hopefully. Back to basics, fun, compelling is what I strive for.
2.- Attempt a balanced game between roleplaying and battle.
3.-Grant boons to players who are trying to have a good experience and contribute with others´ experience.
4-Attempt to shine spotlight on all PCs.
5.-Respect your time and mine.
6.- “Railroading” somewhat. There is an order to adventures, regardless of outcome. Outcome depends of you totally. If you save the princess, that won´t modify the drought, but you might win the King´s favor. If you don´t save the princess, that won´t modify the drought either. Do try not to avoid plot hooks much, I´ll try and make them unobtrusive.
7.-Around 3-6 hours of game every 2 weeks, game going from levels 1-11ish. Hope for 30-35 sessions. Would you be willing to commit?

Once again, trust I want to tell a story for you and with you. I´ll make it easy to follow as well as be a part modifying the world. I´ll be open to side-quests and character development, but do ask that you do not try stubbornly for an absolute "open world". I have worked hard to make a good adventure in a certain land. Let us see together if this is something you can enjoy.

IF someone would like to co/DM with me, I[d appreciate it.

The world will not be adjusted to pamper you, even if you are this stories´ main character. You are not the world main characters. If you run off a cliff, you´ll fall. Speak with me before playing a controversial skill or character so that unclear rules (guidelines, at DM´s discretion) do not get you into something you don’t enjoy and can adapt to.

Multiple standard races are encouraged.

NOTES OF INTEREST:
1.-Some classes, mainly those that are combat oriented, will be modified for flavor and realism. See below.
2.-Flavor elements (such as wizards looking for arcane components) will be used. Lacking of components may cause a spell to increase a casting DC.
3.-I wil create minimal feats, if you are interest in these.
