Gwai Ma Jeow - 'To throw in a monkeywrench'

Rumor spreads like wildfire that the vessel 'Stormhold' limped into port the night before with only two crew on board...the pilot and a young man who is apparently the new owner of the ship. The pilot was carted off to the local med facility but might not make it due to the severity of his wounds. Tale told by those who came aboard to help is one of horror, of the mutilated bodies of crew members and two Reavers, frozen in the storage hold where the exterior seal had failed. There's whispers of blood smeared down hallways and the horrible shape the victim's bodies were in, causes women and men alike to shudder in disgust and fear.

Within days, a new rumor surfaces about the young owner, who's father was one of the deceased, is looking for a new crew to fly the 'Stormhold'. Are you destitute enough, willing to do just about anything to put food on the table and a roof over your head? Are you desperate enough to get off this God-forsaken planet for some reason that you'd be willing to sign on to a crew in a ship who's walls are still smeared with blood and whispered to be haunted? Are you perhaps a skilled individual but there's no work to be found, causing your funds to run mighty thin? And even if there is a job that comes open, the wait list is twenty names deep?

Then the 'Stormhold' just might be that chance to fix what ails ya.

I'm beginning to put together a group of players who will be able to play twice a month, starting Mid-November (after November 16th). Games could be on a Sunday afternoon or early evening, possibly Monday or Wednesday nights after 7:00 pm, CST.

I'm aiming for 6 - 8 games, most will be 3 - 4 hours max depending on what's currently happening in the game.

You do not need to be an expert with the game mechanics. I know the basics of the rules, enough to fly by the seat of my pants and the rest I'll fake it until I make it. I'm looking for people who have a good grasp of the Verse, the shows and movie, and an good imagination. Is your character desperate enough to take work on a ship who's last crew was slain by Reavers within the very ship they hope they can make a living within?

'Stormhold' needs a Captain, Mechanic, Muscle or two, Pilot, Doctor or Medic, possibly a co-pilot, or second-in-command. If there's something else you wish to play not listed, feel free to drop me a line to see if your idea has the makings of a fine crewman. Feel free to collaborate with your fellow players since everyone will hopefully be signing on, on Santo. Do you know each other, have a rivalry, worked together or heard rumors about?
