Dungeon World: Trudvang (3-5 shot)

Hello!

Important Information:

This game will be taking some lore and some campaigns (BUT NOT THE RULES, IT'S STILL 100% DUNGEON WORLD) from a Swedish Roleplaying game called "Trudvang". It has a very distinct artstyle and I really recommend checking out some images online if you're interested. Don't worry though, you don't have to know anything about that to play. The basic assumption is that we will be playing through the adventure "Wildheart" which is about a mysterious forest. The party already being inside the forest is the starting assumption.

The gametime will be Tuesdays at 19.00 PM (GMT+1) and a session will be around 4h with breaks as needed. I'm located in Europe and would like that most of the players are aswell but as long as you can make it to the session I'm happy. The whole adventure will take between 3-5 sessions (but if it goes on longer I won't mind) and after we are done with it, this campaign is done.

The game takes place in the fantasy world of Trudvang. It's a pretty low fantasy world based on Scandinavian and Celtic myths with a lot of dark forests and trolls. I've GM:ed a lot of different versions of apocalypse world games and I've been waiting for a good chance to play Dungeon World. I would like to play this game with people who wants some great fantasy adventure in a dark and human setting. If you're interested in joining write the name of your favorite fantasy character in your application somewhere. This is just so I know you've read through this.

Some guidelines for the characters you guys will be creating:
Your character should be adventurous.
Your character should be able to work with others in a party.
Your character should be a human/dwarf/elf/troll with more than one emotion and not a single note person with one personality trait.

The tone of this game will be more towards serious, so it's not played for comedy or for laughs. There will be moments where we laugh but the overally story is not one of easy jokes.

If any of this feels like something you would have a problem with then this is not the game for you.

Specificis about the game:

This will not be a by the book version of Dungeon world in the sense that the players and GM will create the world together. There already is a world (but very loosely defined) and some events but it's still pretty free to come up with new things. The basic assumption of this game is that the party has a reason to visit the old forest of Wildheart. You can figure out your own reasons (Searching for x, Figure out the mystery of y) and we will work it in somehow.

Regarding allowed playbooks:

I will probably allow most of them as long as I can look them through first. Some unofficial ones are very well written and thought out but some are extremely one sided and poorly designed.
