The Inner Wilting

The world is dying. To some, it's already dead- everything we've held close has been lost, and the only way people survive is by running longer, harder- and without relent.

The Valkan society is finished with that mess, they wish to do the one thing people believe is impossible: Retake the world. Most of mankind may be dead, but that does not mean this is the extinction of it- nor the extinction of life itself. So, with that, they've assembled the last few 'heroes' the world has left. Not necessarily valorous men, and perhaps not even skilled people- but people who undoubtedly are more capable of saving the world than anyone else.

The unfortunate thing? One of those 'saviors' is going to be the nail in the coffin: Within the trusted ranks, lies one rat. One cursed person- one embodiment of the Wilt.


BASIC INFORMATION:
This game is called "Traitorgame" internally for a reason. One of the party members will eventually turn to be the main villian. Who it is, how it happens and what they will be able to do is a mystery for a while. Eventually, circumstances will reveal that one of the party members is infected, and taken.

SCHEDULE: The date will fall upon weekly days on either: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. The exact time is based on the selected 5 partymembers. My time is CST, don't expect an easy time if you're overseas. NOTE: I posted the LFG a little earlier as I didn't have quite as much time as I wanted to in order to prepare maps. I have roughly 1/2 of the maps and content prepared for the game, so if I need more time to work on it by the deadline, I may push the app deadline back 1 week. That's all though- save for unforeseen circumstances!

TONE: The most obvious part is drama- though the game isn't as horribly grimdark as it might seem to be. It's mostly about the tale of a valiant group of heroes (or anti-heroes) working together in a small set amount of time- while (eventually) knowingly holding a traitor amongst themselves. Otherwise, expect a little dark-humor, a bit of seriousness every now and then, mystery and so forth.

VOICE: I have a preference for making a game with voice-based combat (to speed things up). It's not mandatory, and if people have bad microphones/don't want to/can't talk for their own reasons I'll happily stick to text. Don't think of it any further than combat though, I don't voice act.
