Looking for one or two replacement players with a level 5 character.

Old School Dungeon Crawl with D&D 5e rules.
Characters are made by rolling 4d6 drop lowest IN ORDER.
Any official race is allowed, as are official classes and subclasses.

Characters begin at level 1. Multiclassing and feats are allowed.
Flanking rules are used, and encumbrance plus consumables are tracked.

The adventure is very much site-exploration and sandbox-like.
Combat-heavy, with the roleplay dependant upon players.
There are deadly traps and maybe even deadlier tricks.
The encounters and monster cr are not tied to character level, you can run into tpk areas if you are not careful and do not heed the warnings.

I would prefer players who are not overly experienced, so that there is this excitement left that might fade with years and years of play. Somebody who thinks checking for traps and listening at doors is boring might not be a good fit for the adventure. Also, if you think you would not handle losing a character well, keep in mind that some encounters in this adventure will feel unfair.
