Been playing RPGs for over 40 years (has it been that long?). Started with the old standby AD&D and Basic, then moved to other games as well (Gamma World, Call of Cthulhu, etc). I have played most of the systems from the 80s and 90s, but with the RPG explosion in the 2000s, I have not played as many. Big fan of Monte Cook and all the stuff that he puts out (i.e. Cypher System, Ptolus campaign setting, etc.).
I am not a rules lawyer as I believe every game has its own personality based on the GM and players. That said, I am well-versed in the rules of whichever game I am running or playing in. I have run a bunch of one-shots using various systems and am now looking for a more stable game. The matching of the right players and the right schedule is a challenge, but I am hoping one that can be overcome.
Also, as the Enjoys Playing does not have these choices, I enjoy playing Sentinel Comics RPG and Kult: Divinity Lost.
