I started gaming with D&D when I was six. I remember a picture of a green dragon and a sorceress holding a ball of fire. We went into the dungeon and fought the monsters and won a million gold pieces (ok, so our dm didn't really know how to play... but we were hooked). I've played a lot of games over the years. I moved on to Advanced D&D, then 2nd edition, then some palladium games (TMNT! Robotech!) FASA Star Trek and Dr. Who, Star Wars, Champions, White Wolf (I was especially fond of changeling), D&D 3rd edition, 3.5, 4e, Pathfinder, 5e, and 13th Age. There was Skyrealms of Jorune in there somewhere. I got side tracked with Magic the Gathering for a while, but I always returned to play. I was on the 4e side of the 3.5 debate personally, but that had to do with those rules making it fun to DM again.
I've had a lot of fun recently with 13th Age, but I'm also testing out some 5e games, and still playing a long running (venturing into epic tier) 4e game.
