I'm not too fussed about what race/class to play exactly and rather first know the party composition, world setting, restrictions etc.
On that topic, I'd prefer to join an already establish group so things go smoother, but considering that is unlikely to happen, a new group is cool too.
I prefer games that have a balance of RP and combat - plus games that have an overarching storyline. I don't mind playing sandbox, but I wouldn't be interested in being a central character - instead happily support other party members.
I might be interested in other game systems, but I'd want to talk about it first and read the book before I commit.
