I've played D&D, AD&D (2nd Edition). Then I found Shadowrun 1st Edition and loved the setting but never played. Found a group that played SR 2nd Edition and played it extensively. Then graduated college and lost touch with tabletop gaming, I actually thought Computer RPG's and MMO's had killed the genre. Then got back into playing SR 4th Edition in 2010 and I've tried to keep going with it. Shadowrun is pretty much my favorite tabletop game of all time. I've been playing 5th Edition since it came out.
I'd say my favorite character that I've played is in 4th Edition. I played a Free Spirit of Man named Random, who pretty much was as his name says. Low on raw power, but big on potential to make things happen.
