Just another new-generation old-schooler of AD&D. I mostly hang out in the Forgotten Realms although I do have 2 home-brew games I've also been tinkering with, the Roman Republic & a world of my own fabrications. I like to make up stories from the random rolls, but I don't like to make up rules so my games tend to be very war-gamey and technical, but Roll20 takes a lot of the difficulties out and makes the dungeon run go smoothly.
I've played 1st, 2nd, 3rd/3.5 edition, & Pathfinder. I've read other games but never played them like Shadowrun or Star Trek/Star Wars. I've always loved 1st edition.
I write historical-fiction stories for most of my week, but I love to goof around in the Realms on the weekends. Sundays are my best day to game, but really I troll my own games all the time; adding in new features, tables, stories, NPC's, vignette scenes/cities/dungeons, dangerous & deadly (but amusing) traps, and of course, mythological monsters of the magical kind.
I like to game with a small group, preferably just 1 other person but 3 is about my maximum. After that, someones probably going to get left out. Regardless, I try to be fair and make sure everybody has a good time, and keep the game moving either as a Carver of-Roarer a Half-Elf/Half-Orc Fighter, or as, The Dungeon Master.
