My first brief experience of D & D was at the end of University, but I didn't pick it up until again until a few years later, when, as a school librarian, pupils asked if they could play. I run games, as DM 2-3 times a week in (very) short sessions in the school library I run, as well as a monthly game at the local public library.
I have now played 3e, 3.5e, 4e and am currently enjoying 5e, both round the tabletop and on Roll20. I love world building and have been intermittently working on my Rovanna world: https://rovanna.wordpress.com/ as well as a setting loosely based on the folklore and Norse history of where I live.
I have also dabbled as a player in Call of Cthulhu, Vampire the Requiem, Warhammer RPG, Savage World, Dark Heresy, Necromunda, and Superheroes.
I started in Roll20 by playing a couple of games with Encounter Roleplay in 2016 in their viewer games and have now played regularly regularly with three groups as a player. I also have DM'd using the Curse of Strahd module and have built two games up from scratch based in my homebrew world - Talamh-àrd which have been running some time.
As of March 2020, due to the pandemic, and subsequent school closures, I will be running an online game for the after school D&D group so as to maintain some continuity.
