My name is Kohl King, and I am a long time D&D fanatic. I started playing in 3rd grade (16ish years ago) and I have never looked back. I usually DM, but when I get the chance to play I take full advantage of the opportunity and Role Play my heart out. I've been called a "character actor" who gets into character and has a hard time getting out. I enjoy the role play aspect more than anything else and have gone more than 3 sessions (8+ hours each) without rolling a die. Roll20 is the next step in my D&D adventure.
When I am not playing D&D I am usually reading, acting (My wife and I run our own theatre company), or writing. Being an old man, I don't really enjoy sports these days. Music wise I listen to just about anything that isn't country or rap. I work as a pet detective on the weekends for a major dog and cat food company.
Dungeons and Dragons is more than just a game to me. I suffered crippling social anxiety when I was younger and couldn't speak in front of anyone, even close friends and family. I was force to take sign language classes is school because they thought I would never be able to talk. However, thanks to Dungeons and Dragons I was able to adopt speaking and social skills that have had a profound effect on my life. If not for D&D, I wouldn't be running my own business, I wouldn't be married, and I wouldn't be happy.
