Hello! I'm predominantly a play-by-post player, who enjoys vc but has not managed to (successfully) play by voice yet. That said, I would love to try again.
I come from pbp, so I love the roleplay aspect. Character interactions. Building backstories (please yes please). Generally creating characters. Maybe some character development. If not, just tribulations characters go through (I do love some darker themes). I enjoy dice, so combat is fun. Exploration is amazing but I would not be able to come up with exploration stuff, so... only if you can do that. Same for mysteries.
What I would ideally have is both play-by-post (pbp) and a bit of voiced sessions. I do not think I can carry a story through voice, but I imagine that writing a bit of backgrounds and interactions and roleplay and then maybe doing some exploration/combat in vc could work. I would love to write up vc sessions in little flashbacks and such.
I always get overwhelmed at large servers, and while I try, I notice that I work best in smaller groups (maybe up to five).
Currently not looking but might be seduced by a game.
