I got into pen and paper RPGs when I was a wee lad, only 11 or so years old. Honestly, I can't remember the exact age, but it was a damn long time ago. I DM'd before I ever played a character, because my friends deemed that since I wrote stories, I would be good enough to manage an imaginary universe. Now I both play and DM/GM. I enjoy both sides equally. I lean more towards high-tech when gaming in person, as in I have done everything from projector setups to borrowing a friend's excessively large touch screen(Hint: computer monitors do not lend themselves to 6 hour late-night gaming marathons if you want your eyes functioning).

It all comes back to the pen and paper though. There's simply something magical about real, physical maps, be they published or hand-drawn by your DM.

I got on Roll20 originally to try and use it as DM software, but it didn't suit me. However, since I haven't been able to play D&D or PF since 2015... I figured maybe I should find an online group. So here I am.

Aside from RPGs, I enjoy writing, martial arts, weightlifting, and long walks up the backside of a mountain.
