I grew up playing D&D games such as Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and PS:T and always wanted to play the P&P version. Sadly I was never able to find a group as a child. I finally managed to find a regular group to play near the release of 4th edition. My group played 4e up until the release of 5e when we switched. I have been playing 5e once a month ever since. I don't mind playing most classes although lately I have played a lot of spellcasters so would prefer something like a Ranger or Rogue.
I do not mind playing homebrew campaigns or official modules but my preferred setting is Forgotten Realms
