I've always been interested in fantasy and make believe and have been role-playing for about 10+ years. D&D always piqued my interest. However growing up in a religious household, it was "the Devil's game". It wasn't until my late 20s I joined some friends and started playing 4e. After a few sessions, unfortunately, that group disbanded.
Watching a several videos online about 5e (DawnforgedCast, Nerdist, Is it My Turn Yet?, etc) the D&D bug bit me pretty hard. So I got a few friends together and formed a monthly campaign, which I've been running here for about two years.
I've also started a Lost Mine of Phandelver campaign, and occasionally run a one-shot (usually The Master's Vault, but I'm branching out). I've never thought I would be a good DM, but I'm keeping things floating so far.
