began playing with red box DND in the 80's, transitioned to palladium in the 90's. began Dm'ing in the early 90's and tried out other systems both as player and DM. found the fusion (mekton zeta and related) system had great character gen but game play suffered, white wolf (vampire the masquerade and it associated systems for those that don't know) writing was great but not a fan of the system. DND from advanced to 2nd to 3r . tried 4th and 5 not a fan. dabbled in cyberpunk but found it better as a resource for tech and world ideas for other systems, shadowrun, star wars fantasy flight, battle tech more recently. even tried various attempts at homebrew systems, suffice to say I understand how the table top works. I run a mature table in that I expect players to behave as adults. subject matter touches the darker side but I don't go into details, nor do I do the details for the barmaid hookup. I have run games for underage to seniors and I aim to provide challenge as I firmly believe the players will get greater joy from it than if I just hand things over. I listen to my players and am willing to discuss rulings but end of the day its my table and the DM's words are law as pertains to the game. yes I'm aware that is the old school method but there it is.
it isn't common I have open seats but my games when there is a seat games are always weekly and on fri, sat, or sun barring life reasons to cancel
