MERP is where it all started and I've played many of the usual suspects over the years, Rolemaster / D&D / Cthulhu / Runequest / Vampire / Feng Shui / Traveller / Star Wars / Dark Heresy / Hero...

I've been using Roll20 to play games with old mates now on opposite sides of the globe and it seems to work quite well. I'm also interested in trying out games with new groups, particularly Tales From The Loop or similar, kids in trouble, Stranger Things style RPGs.

I enjoy the role playing (funny accents optional) and the banter between PCs and NPCs as much as the roll playing of interesting tactical combat. In the classic high fantasy settings I particularly enjoy playing the tricksters such as Rogues / Bards / Warlocks, characters who aren't going to solo the troll on their own but who specialise in versatility, if you pardon the oxymoron! I also have an alternative soft spot for grizzled dwarf veterans who see it as their duty to keep an eye on the younger whipper snappers in the party and make sure they don't get into too much trouble!
