Hello; I am GM and Player Dinean. I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons sense 2nd edition; and have traveled my gaming experience through D&D 3.5; Shadow Run (I forget which version), Savage Worlds, and Pathfinder. I currently run a Pathfinder gam, and play in a Pathfinder game as well as a Savage Worlds game. I also play table top games, and have investigated using Roll20 for such games as Full Thrust. While I do not intend to take the Full Thrust battle into the Roll20 world what I do intend to do is utilize the Roll20 for a campaign map and tracker of damaged ships. If and when the process is finished on this game I will be looking to expand my usage for games such as Limies and Slimies, and other navel games.
I have also considered setting up a battle format of Limies and Slimies in Roll20, though I would have to alter the rules slightly for the grid and online environment. In fact I have been considering doing a fantasy version of the game to have an effect on my Pathfinder campaign to represent when larger forces fight near my ports or try to bring in supplies.
Note, while I actively seek new games – I am more or less at this point seeking to watch how other gm’s and groups interact so that I can help to build my skill set more. I am not looking to become a regular gamer for another game at this time.
