I treat participation in a RPG as collaborative story-telling experience - so the story is more important to me than the game mechanics. I enjoy playing widely different characters with backstories that make them unique in some way - but there are are some common threads in all characters I play - they are always good-aligned, fair-minded and team-oriented. I'm currently seeking a game their is either Tolkien themed or wouldn't mind if I drew upon bits of Tolkien's stories for character inspiration.
