I am a curmudgeon. I only enjoy playing with mature, intelligent adults.
Habitual DM lukewarm towards "see what sticks" D&D high fantasy. Running games since 2E first printing. Currently running D&D 5E and Starfinder 2E. My adventures run the gamut from "bizarre" to "epic narrative journey." My own characters are optimized to my vision; RP and competence are not mutually exclusive.
Example: a Soul Knife rogue / warlock / fighter who specializes in high mobility and chip damage from throwing his psychic blades. Is he the highest DPS in the party? Nope. But I love his personality and style.
