I spent time looking for a 4e game, and it was very difficult to the point of impossible. I decided to DM, and I haven't looked back. That was around over six years ago, and I have evolved as games master. Every laugh, victory, and story become a part of me with stories that only the groups I've been part of could tell. I continue this journey to keep improving, learning new games, and trying out something else to test my storytelling ability.
My style is improvised/prepared story arcs. I'll prepare material, but I like preparing situations where the player can alter the story dramatically through creative decisions and teamwork. Interaction with NPCs can be critical, as they are more than just fluff for the player to gather information like a video game.
My campaigns are almost always custom, and rarely do I ever use modules. I find it limits my creativity as a games master.
