Hi there, my name is Ed and I'm a 29 year old gamer from London. I've been playing various systems for over 10 years now, from D&D to Numenera in the mainstream to more obscure titles like Microscope and Remnants (I'll include a full list below for the full details).
I've been a big fan of pen & paper RPGs for a long time, both live and through the internet. For me it's not just the chance to play a game, it is the chance to inhabit a character, to live through harrowing experiences at the mercy of the dice gods and reveal in the story created by a party as they travel the GM's world.
This may seem like I'm only in it for the RP, but I also appreciate the rules, and the need for structure to prevent the whole thing from falling into chaos (which would just be dull). But I believe the rules are a framework for the wider story, so in the constant battle of rules vs RP, for me RP wins every time.
