Hmmm, what to say?
I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons and other role playing games since I was eight. I played a little with some relatives, but I didn't really start becoming interested in D&D itself until I got my first Player's Handbook around eleven or twelve.
I generally wind up being the person running the game and the opportunity for me to play a character rarely ever comes along. Therefore, while I am competent at creating creatures, mythology, world design, dungeons, etc. and tailoring it all for players, I am not very experienced on the player side of the game.
I prefer original D&D, 2nd Ed. AD&D, and 3.0/3.5 D&D, 5e, and Pathfinder. I only recently got into 5e, but it's not that much different from what I have already played.
I enjoy rp, but I cannot take it seriously for very long. I'm in and out of character a lot (but I don't meta game and don't care for min/maxing).
My DM style tends to be narrative and rules-lite at time. But, I believe the narrative needs to fit within the overall frame of the rules otherwise I may as well make my own thing from the ground up.
Oh well, that's all for now. I will edit this more later.
