The Wasteland:

My first game. Used 4e, which was the DM's preference purely because he didn't want the money he'd spent on that edition's materials to go to waste. A decent amount of homebrew, including an alternate magic system that essentially required you to snort magical crack to cast spells. I still played a wizard, because the party needed one.
His name was originally Dinglehopper Steve, but over the course of the campaign it gradually morphed into xX_ 1337_ $T0V#_Xx. Not my fault, some things just happen. The campaign ended when we got stuck in the ninth layer of a pocket dimension and fought a giant purple worm. We won, but we couldn't leave, and due to the machinations of the evil organization we had at one point been employed by, the world exploded, so it wasn't like we had anything to go back to.

Elixir Quest

My second campaign, by the same DM and also in 4e. In this campaign, we found that the king of the nation we were in was being puppeted by some form of brain slug, which was using the kingdom's resources to summon massive amounts of weird tentacled things straight out of the cthulhu mythos. Our objective was to cure him, by bouncing across the continent and finding expensive stuff to mix into an elixir. We fought a giant clam and another purple worm, then infiltrated a dwarven tomb for magic mushrooms. There was a big epic fight at the end, we cured the king, and they all lived happily ever after. I was playing a dwarven fighter by the name of Tholdaan, with absolutely ridiculous AC. Also, the dwarves in this setting lived in what amounted to New York after a nuke and a few centuries, with the main city being underground. I would've found this cooler if I hadn't learned that their society was centered around using the aforementioned mushrooms as crack. (Looking back, this DM had a weird thing about drugs. Don't tell him I said that though.)

D&D 5e. What if space travel, but magic instead of science? Operative name: Magnasol Mercs.

Ended a while back, I've journaled elsewhere about it. Played a half-orc Life Cleric who among other things had a predilection for head-taking and managed to out-heal a lich's DPR.

I'd honestly forgotten about this page, so the dozen or so others I've played in by now will go unlisted.
