I'm 28 years old and new to being a DM. I haven't even played much as a PC. Mostly in Pathfinder (5e is so much better, IMO), but never enough to get through a full campaign. I've always wanted to get a committed group to get together and actually finish something. I'm usually picking up the roles no one else is willing to touch which is why I decided if I'm going to do this I might as well be the DM.
So if you're new to the game and looking for someone else that won't judge you. Won't tell you your question is stupid. And is willing to teach you. Then you've come to the right guy.
My first built game is specifically for new players. It's designed to take you on a quest through a dungeon and get a feel for one of the classes. The characters are pre-generated, start (and end) at 1-st level, and the game only takes about 45 minutes. Afterwards you should be familiar with combat, turns, exploration, rolling, puzzles, and more. I wanted to do this not only to teach you, but also to teach myself. The more I explain and the more unexpected questions I get will help me learn the things I need to know as a DM myself.
So please, feel free to hit me up with comments and questions about the game as a whole or my game to try to join a session for beginners.
