Hey folks, Canadian guy here, from Toronto!

My experience with 5th edition has been decent. I like the simple, straightforward approach, although I feel it leans too heavily in favor of players.

I'm 40, actually ancient, and I have a few good years of adventuring on my resume, so no need to worry about that. In the past I've played D&D, AD&D, Werewolf, Shadowrun, and a few others.

I'm interested in parties that will emphasize roll play over technicalities, people that are playing to make good memories and create interesting characters in rich worlds, as opposed to spending all their time and effort calculating the max. damage they can crank out. Neat backgrounds, funny accents, quirks and all that jazz.

I don't mind joining in on established groups, or meeting up with all new random folks, I don't get scared off easily... Just be nice.
