I have some experience playing Pathfinder Society and more recently D&D Adventurers League, but it's pretty sporadic experience—just a few days a year at the local con thus far—so while I understand 5E pretty well, I'd hardly consider myself an expert! Now that the bug has bitten properly once a year isn't enough, so I'm looking for more games, more often. I'm actually more interested in playing 5th edition D&D at the moment (thanks, Critical Role), but I wouldn't say no to trying Pathfinder again or learning something new. (...or Mouse Guard? I know nothing about Mouse Guard other than that it sounds adorable and appeals to the old Redwall fan in me.)

I like roleplaying and being in-character, but I also like to have fun with battles and other mechanics—a fair mix of both, in other words, not too heavy on either side. I'm not much of a min-maxer, although I wouldn't mind helpful advice on how to make sure a character is enjoyably balanced. Eventually I'd like to try every race and every class so I'm open to experimenting with anything and filling just about any party role.

I'm also learning to GM and am currently running a 5e game at home with some family. One of these days I may write up my own silly little campaign world, as I do love worldbuilding, but we'll see how it goes!
