I played D&D 2nd, 3rd editions. settings such as dragonlance and planescape. Moved to owod later on, and settled in nwod and most recently 2e nwod. Currrently GM'ing vampire 2e game.
I like sandbox games, thats the thing that appeals to me most. I like player driven stories as opposed to plot driven ones. Autoscripted games that have limited number of options and endings do not appeal much to me.
I like to stick to rules presented in books with the option to expand them with house rules and such, but contradicting rules directly seems a bit too much for me. I believe fluff must adhere to crunch, and vice versa ie. rules must support the setting. I dont like purely roleplaying systems.
I have long ago lost the good vs. evil perspective (aka plague of d&d) and settled in everyone is in grey area mentality, hence I can not follow the logic of fighting darkness, evil etc. for the sake of saving the world mentality.
