With 400 sessions of hosting experience and 150 of playing, I've seen a lot of Dungeons and Dragons over the years. What draws me to roleplaying games are the stories and laughter shared among the players. The epic failures, unexpected outcomes, and self-referential humor among the party are what I seek from a campaign.
As a player, I enjoy playing support characters. In 3rd edition it was easy to 'break' encounters with clever usage of mechanics, so instead I focus on supporting others. I draw far more satisfaction from setting others up for success.
