New to roleplaying. I have a thorough grasp of the Forgotten Realms up to the 4th edition material which I wasn't particularly keen on. In the few RP sessions I have been involved in over the last year, I have used AD&D 2nd edition with an emphasis on storytelling and 'fun' home rules for the horrifically unruly (and occasionally mentally-adled) players who have even less grasp of the set rules than myself.
I wouldn't mind joining a group as a player for a while if it gave me a better grasp of 2nd edition and playing as a DM.
I am open to all campaign setting but I'm particularly taken by Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance.
