Hello,
My name is Alex, and I'm a 29 year old Chemist in Wisconsin. I haven't played tabletop RPGs since high school (mostly for lack of interest among my friends) until very recently starting a very infrequent pathfinder game, and I'm really excited to give it a shot online to scratch that nagging itch I have from only being able to play in the real world once a month!
A little about me. As I said, I'm a chemist. I studied Biochemistry and Genetics in college and am currently working for a contract laboratory that does quality testing for a variety of pharmaceutical products. I play a lot of video games, listen to many podcasts, and occasionally get to play some board games when my fellow overly busy professional friends get a chance to slow down for a minute. I also love to cook, read, and enjoy fancy loose leaf teas and craft beers. I was a huge band nerd when I was a kid and am trying to grasp that thread of me by teaching myself piano (slow going, admittedly).
For my adventuring group preferences, I would like to join a group of adults, be they students or professionals. I don't mind playing games with younger kids, but I find it more difficult to unwind (read: cuss like a sailor) and connect with people that are much younger than I. I tend to play characters that are scholarly, and/or brazen goody good heroes. I would be curious to try and play an evil campaign sometime just to try something new.
I work weekdays from approximately 8am-4pm (Central time) and am available most nights (except Wednesdays) and most weekend days, though Sunday is the day once a month my real world group meets.
