Started with the "red box" D&D, then AD&D & 2nd Edition...then "the real world" took over and my D&D box was lost in the shadowy attic. Over time, my board game shelf became a closet. Candyland, Life, Sorry and Monopoly were replaced by gateway games like Catan, Carcassonne, and Ticket to Ride. Then came more advanced like Small World, Dominion, Pandemic, etc. and then came indies from Kickstarter. But always there was D&D in my blood.
Finally, I am back into it with 5th Edition and playing catch up on what has changed. I am thrilled to be back in the DM seat again! Still fairly new to Roll20, but hopeful that it can be a decent tool to fill in for those times when a physical meet is not possible.
