My Experience:
I've been into RPGs for around 35 years, on and off, but have only been a DM on Roll20 since Nov 2015. I'm just about finished running one game (Lost Mines of Phandelver) and have started another (Curse of Strahd).
My style and preferences:
I prefer to DM and I like to run games with a good mixture of role-playing and roll-playing. I generally use battlemaps for exploration and combat, but only get Down to counting squares and measuring distances once initiative is rolled. I think that the rules support good story telling rather than let them get in the way.
I like to build adventure hooks and plots around the PCs back stories, usually without the player knowing that I'm doing it until the big reveal at the end of an adventure. As a player I fit the actor / story teller archetypes. I don't let min/maxing or optimisation of my character get in the way of a good narrative (and my energy is sapped by those who do when I'm the DM).
What I'm looking for:
I'm most interested in DnD5e games and I have the Players Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide and Monster Manual (as well as the Starter Set and all of the adventures). I work full time away from home Monday to Friday and like to spend time with my wife and kids at the weekends, so sessions no longer than 3 or 4 hours after 2000h on a Friday or Saturday night (central European time) would be ideal - although I am open to other possibilities. Frequency every two weeks or monthly.
