I am a 25 year old woman who has always been fascinated by the idea of D&D until I was introduced to Critical Role about a year ago. Then I became obsessed. I have been playing 3.5 & 4th edition for a few months and have started a 5th edition game with my family and its been a lot of fun.
However, my family and I only get to play once a month and one of my brothers in particular can't get enough, so I'm checking out Roll20 for him to see if there is a good community here to help him find a way to quench his thirst for more D&D. I would have him join my games, but my fellow roleplayers can be very rude and inappropriate and I'd like to see if there are any online groups who would be better influences on him. And frankly, I'm getting a little frustrated with their rudeness myself, so I wouldn't mind finding new people either. :3
