I'm Bruno, an 30 years old avid fan of D&D and I've played D&D for about 5~6 years (of which: 95% of the time spent was D&D 5e, and the other 5% was D&D 3.5). I've the most experience playing as a Bard (not the "seduce everything" kind of bard, but the one that supports the party and that keeps them alive, while also composing poems and songs about the funny things that happened on the campaign) when I am feeling creative or as a pure melee class like Barbarian or Fighter when I've a creativity block. But I like to make an unique character every time I play, so I can choose to play any kind of character if I have a good idea based on the game world or the party composition.
My dream D&D group would be one that:
1.) follows the "7 principles for dnd players" that Dungeon Dudes talked about (video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d1VTjHcis-E );
2.) Have a session zero to talk and create the characters of the party members together
One example of the poems I've made:
If I have this pointy rapier? Yes, yes, I do
Though I dont use this thing, but voodoo
Why should I dirt myself in some blood
While dodging attacks coming like flood
When I could just be confy in the back
While yelling "Dont you miss the attack!"?
I'm too cool and my voice's too precious
To have me in need of facing the vicious
Attacks of one that's worth so few coins
Since my voice makes you hit the groins
Of all of these powerful enemies we face
Turning the blind miss into a beautiful ace
