I have about 7 years experience as a player/GM. I started playing back in the 2.0 era, then house-ruled through 3e, dealt with 4e but haven't had time to digest 5e. I am an amateur actor so roleplaying is high on my strengths list. I also am an avid gamer, so I understand plot, puzzles and when to just let bad things happen for more interesting plot. I hate when my players kill the mysterious stranger who suddenly teleports to the pedestal and steals sought after goblet. It is more interesting to talk or to investigate and let the plot develop. One of my favorite online quotes "Plot is something the DM does when the players aren't talking."
