Long time gamer, leaning towards science fiction and anime style games. Played RPG games many years ago, but got interested in W40K. Even through playing miniature games, I still purchased RPG rulebooks, and tried to get into groups, but being 30 years older than the other players, made it difficult to fit in. Had a Gamer's Midlife Crisis where I stopped playing W40K and other table-top games and took up playing the flute. A few years later I was cautiously getting back into W40K, when I saw some interesting game miniatures in a showcase there. Those miniatures led me into over a 10 year involvement with Corvus Belli and their Infinity Miniatures Game. To where I was among their first group of WarCors and even trusted me to assist on Corvus Belli's first trip to a GenCon. As the oldest WarCor, real-life has really hit me as I lost both my mother and my wife, within a month of each other. Grief recovery opened me up to believe I was gay, but life wasn't finished with me yet. The years of COVID plus other things, I finally found my true self as a woman. Now that the bulk of my transitioning is behind me, I'm looking to get back into roleplaying games.
