Hi! I play predominantly D&D 5E, and am working on GM'ing my first game! When I was a kid, I played a lot of 2nd Edition D&D, but then I stopped for a long time, and have only picked D&D back up because of mutual friends who wanted to start a game about 2 years ago! A lot has changed and I've been reading voraciously.
I like role-play heavy campaigns, intrigue, excitement, and a good balance of combat and diplomacy. I like when teams work together well, and I like when we can really dig into our characters. I like asking the question "how does this situation make my character feel? What would they do in this situation?" and find humour/gravitas in the details of the game and the quirks of the character. I appreciate a good GM and would like to get to the point where I know what I'm doing as a GM - it's a tough and sometimes thankless job. I'm married, own an English bulldog, and am Canadian. That's me!
