About me

I am a 30 year old stay at home mom, living in SW Florida. I'm quirky, personable, and easy going. I've been playing D&D (via Roll20 and Discord) for a year now. I have a small amount of experience as GM but much more as a PC. Like most of us, I dabbled in this hobby and became hopelessly addicted. Now I'm passing that addiction to my spawn. :)

As a player

  • Character first, stats secondary. - I won't min/max. I tend to appreciate well rounded characters with some backstory.
  • I won't argue or rules lawyer.
  • I enjoy RP and try to make decisions based on what my character would do.
  • I won't spill all the details about my character. Relationships have to be built within the party before secrets will be told.

I enjoy

  • Descriptions of places we go and people we meet. - Immersive storytelling.
  • NPCs that act like people. - I expect reasonable reactions to the world and interactions with the party.
  • Consequences for actions. - Murder hobos should be frowned upon.
  • Communication - We can't expect a group of strangers to get on without a hitch.
  • Assistance when it's asked for.

I don't enjoy

  • Min/maxing, murder hobos, telling PCs what to do with their turn.
  • Spotlight hogs. - You're entitled to your moment but not every moment.
  • Rules lawyering / arguing - Once a decision is made by the GM we need to move on, and discuss further after the game if needed.
  • Chaotic Stupid - This isn't an alignment. No one wants to play with this character.
  • Rudeness - generally sexist, bigoted or nasty remarks have no place here. - If you make a mistake and someone asks you not to do something, please stop.
