Been playing D&D for 8 years. I enjoy games that are heavy on role-play but don't skirt around combat scenarios. I prefer DMs that allow side-questing between scenes rather than force-marching from plot point to plot point in a campaign. I'm up for any storyline or playstyle, would prefer to play as frequently as possible. Favorite games are sandbox, with quests that may or not be time-sensitive; stuff like Skyrim or West Marches, where the players can choose when and where to go, who to interact with, and what quests they'd prefer to take up without feeling like they're constantly being steered in a different direction.
